Pocket Neighborhood 

The purpose of this project is to design a pocket neighborhood using at least 1 small or tiny house prototype given by the instructor. This pocket neighborhood will support housing for homeless veterans in Nassau County. given the 2 sites, Wantagh Ave. in Levittown, and garden city, we are to choose one site and propose our solutions

Rules of Thumb House

The purpose of this project is to design a house using rules of thumb. We used sets of architectural patterns and technical rules of thumb provided by the class to design a house for ourselves.

Row House

The Taylor family purchased a vacant lot on the beautiful historic Washington Street, in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. This design including the construction of a new multi-story row house. In order to provide for a design proposal for all their requirements, problems were addressed and defined to allow for solutions to fit not only for their specific needs, but also to meet the needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.

Architecture Design I: Work

Compact House

The purpose of this project is to design a house for a family of five using rules of thumb. We used all the requirements for each room space to provide acceptable clearances for all furniture.
